About Our Estate

Membership and Allocation

An allocation-only winery is a winery that sells its limited-production wines exclusively to members on a mailing list or through private agents.

Our allocations are released three times a year. You’ll find our schedule of upcoming releases here.

Our allocations typically entitle our members to buy (1) one three-pack from each release. 

To become a member, sign up here. When our membership portal opens, you’ll receive an email informing you that you can now register and create your account. 

In addition to access to purchase (1) one three-pack from each release, membership also includes the opportunity to book private events at our estate and the opportunity to purchase tickets for our exclusive estate events.

Upon release, you’ll receive email and text notifications that your wine allocation is available for purchase. Because our production is so limited, we ask that you purchase your wine through our portal within 48 hours of receiving your notice. Wine not purchased through your allocation within that timeframe will be returned to the pool and offered to another member.

Yes. Our allocations are only available in packages of three. Because our releases are so limited, we can only offer one allocation, or pack of three to each member at this time.

Purchase of your allocation grants you membership with Casa Locé. If you elect not to purchase your allocation, unfortunately, we will need to remove your profile from our list, and your membership status removed. If you’ve been removed from our list and membership, you can always register to be returned to our waitlist here.

We offer shipping within North America at an additional fee determined by location and delivery date requirements.

We take great care to pack your allocation to arrive at your door in pristine condition. That said, we understand that accidents do happen, so should your wine arrive damaged. Please email us at orders@casaloce.com  as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to resolve the issue.

Typically not. However, if you’re a member attending one of our private events, you can pick up your allocation at that time. Please note that 48-hour notice is required.

Public Wine Tastings

Your tasting experience includes a rotating selection of 5 wines from both Casa Locé and Doctor's Orders with expert insights from Dom O'Riley, expert winemaker and Doctor's Orders founder, along with our knowledgeable team. You'll receive printed menus featuring details about each wine in your flight.

You'll taste 5 wines during your 1-hour tasting experience, featuring a rotating selection from both Casa Locé and Doctor's Orders.

Wine tastings are offered Wednesday through Sunday. Advance reservations are required. More information here.

Our intimate tasting experiences accommodate 1-6 guests per session. Groups larger than 6 guests require a custom booking request.

You can experience our wines in distinctive seasonal locations on our estate:

  • The Casita  –  An intimate indoor setting that captures the warmth and character of our estate
  • Enclosed Garden – A serene outdoor sanctuary surrounded by native Ojai Valley flora
  • Outdoor Patio – An al fresco experience with sweeping vineyard and mountain views

Yes, all wines featured in your tasting flight are available for purchase onsite or can be shipped directly to you. You'll also have the opportunity to subscribe to Casa Locé and Doctor's Orders wine memberships during or after your tasting experience.

Food is not included in the $50 tasting price. We may offer additional provisions for purchase during your visit.

We recommend booking at least 2 days in advance to ensure availability.

You can reschedule your reservation once at no charge. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

We do not offer refunds for cancellations. However, you may reschedule your reservation once at no additional cost.

No, our tasting experiences are designed as 1-hour sessions to ensure the best experience for all guests and to maintain our schedule.

All participants must be 21 years or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID upon arrival.

Yes, paid parking is available on the estate for all tasting guests. 

Wine tastings are offered at the same price for all guests at this time. However, members do enjoy exclusive access to estate tours, 15% off Doctor's Orders wines, and other special benefits.

Groups of 7 or more guests must submit a custom booking request through our Large Group Inquiry Form. Our team will contact you to discuss availability and create a personalized experience.

Private Member Events 

When you have a date in mind and a rough idea of what type of event you’d like to host, how many guests you’ll host, and what kind of food and beverage you’d like to offer, send us an email with these details and your member number at events@casaloce.com. A team member will get back to you with a response within 3-to 4 business days.

Our private cellar tastings typically accommodate 6 -12 members. For larger events, we’re proud to offer our members a partially covered venue that can accommodate up to 120 seats for dinner and 200 people for a stand-up cocktail event. 

Our estate events are held every 2-3 months. Our estate events typically include wine, a meal, and live entertainment. Tickets for these events are offered to our members via our mailing list and are available for purchase on a first-come-first-served basis. Ticket fees include wine, food, and entertainment and are exclusive to transportation unless an exception is stipulated on the invitation for that event.

Yes. Our executive chef prepares a custom menu for all our events in collaboration with the host member.

Yes. Our venue fee includes coordination of all estate-related services, including food and beverage menu creation and planning, table layout and set-up, and food and beverage service. However, it does not include travel coordination, third-party rentals, or RSVP management.

The member hosting a private event at the estate is responsible for all associated costs. The ticket price includes all the costs related to attending estate events, except transportation to and from the venue.
